A delegation of the Executive Members of the GMC Alumni Association met the Hon’ble Governor of Madhya Pradesh to discuss initiatives for raising awareness on sickle cell anemia. The Governor graciously accepted our invitation to be the Chief Guest for the seminar being organized by the Alumni Association on 1st June 2025. This one-day event aims to sensitize the medical fraternity about the growing incidence of sickle cell anemia due to limited awareness. We sincerely thank the Hon’ble Governor for his kind support.

GMC Foundation Day Celebration August 13, 2025 | Gandhi Medical College, Bhopal Gandhi Medical College, Bhopal, celebrated its Foundation Day on 13th August 2025, marking 70 years since its establishment (1955–2025) in this Platinum Jubilee year. The program began with a floral tribute at the statue of Mahatma Gandhi, followed by a cake-cutting ceremony at the GMC building badminton court. A brief address was delivered by representatives of MTA, JDA, the Alumni Association, along with the Dean and Superintendent of GMC. The celebration concluded with a formal vote of thanks, encapsulating the rich legacy of GMC and its continuing journey of excellence.
